Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) OSS/Informational Webinar
Jan 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) overall intent of this initiative is to accelerate the responsible deployment of geothermal energy in multiple underdeveloped regions of the U.S. by addressing specific barriers to deployment in each area. These barriers include a lack of adequate data to guide and incentivize geothermal exploration and development activities, financial barriers that impede exploratory drilling and limited technical expertise. This initiative will build upon previous and ongoing work that has focused primarily on the Great Basin region of the United States and will also support expanded efforts in regions such as, but not limited to, the southern Basin and Range, the Pacific Northwest (including Alaska), and Hawaii.
The Objective Strategic Session (OSS) is an opportunity for potential performers and interested parties to learn more about PIA opportunities facilitated by ConnectWerx via webinar. DOE will provide an overview of the opportunity and additional details directly to OSS participants. OSS participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the opportunity directly to DOE and ConnectWerx.
